About the role

We have a rare opening for a retail jeweller to join our award-winning team of jewellery professionals.

Key responsibilities

A customer facing role, your days will be spent helping customers with a wide variety of different enquiries including:
· Jewellery and watch sales
· Repairs and restorations
· Bespoke commissions
· Buying jewellery and watches for our pre-owned collections

Requirements

Thanks to the diversity of what we do, no two days are the same; you need to be flexible in how you approach each customer and each day. As a comparatively small team we all ‘muck in’ and take on all of the odd jobs needed to keep a business running smoothly.

Jewellery or similar one-on-one customer service experience will be an advantage but if you’re creative, eager to learn and above all have a passion for jewellery and watches then please get in touch.

The Package

Salary is individually negotiated depending on experience and what you can bring to the role. Starting salary from £13 per hour plus annual profit share.

Your usual working week will comprise of 38 hours over four days, with two weekdays and Sunday off. Some seasonal overtime may be required.

You will be encouraged to fully embrace your role and make it your own. While every member of our team needs to be an all-rounder, once established, we anticipate some specialisation in areas of particular interest and we’ll support that with training and funded education.

Once sufficiently experienced, you will be largely self-managing whilst still being supported by your colleagues and the senior management where necessary.
