An unusual and interesting Omega Chronostop watch in stainless steel with steel mesh bracelet. This is the 'Driver' model with characteristic sideways dial, designed so that racing drivers could wear the watch on the inside of the wrist and easily check their times. The tonneau case with contrasting brushed and polished steel finish is typical of the late 1960s aesthetic and maintains a classic look with the mesh bracelet. Genuine Omega acrylic. Dated to 1968 using the serial number.

Dark grey dial with steel batons, white hands and orange chronograph seconds hand. 1/5 seconds markers around the outside of the dial. Single button chronograph function.

Manual winding movement with winding crown at 4 o'clock.

Recently serviced with Omega (April 2023). Included refurbishment of the case with contrasting brushed and polished finishes - just a few subtle marks visible to the case. The watch is in very good condition, especially considering the age of the piece.

No box or papers. Service paperwork for April 2023 Omega service supplied. Two year guarantee.

Items delivered to an address other than where the card is registered will be subject to additional security checks that may delay dispatch.
