Lab grown oval and pear shape diamond three stone ring in platinum, 1.88ct

A magnificent lab grown diamond three stone ring, crafted in platinum.  The central oval lab grown diamond of 1.67ct is a stunning stone.  Supplied with an independent diamond grading report for your peace of mind, the stone is graded as D colour and VVS2 clarity.  D is the top grade for colour, completely colourless and incredibly bright.  As a VVS2 clarity, the inclusions within the stone are very difficult to locate even using a 10x lens, so you can be assured of a distraction-free eye-clean appearance.  For oval diamonds it is particularly important that the symmetry and proportions are to a high standard, to avoid dark patches in the stone and annoying bulges to the outline.  This stone is cut beautifully and has incredible brilliance from all angles.

Accompanying the oval stone are two pear shaped lab-grown diamonds, perfectly matched to complement the centre.  The elegant shape creates a flattering outline on the finger and offers something a little different from the classic round look.  The platinum ring is designed to sit neatly next to another if desired, making this an ideal choice for an engagement ring.

Lab-grown diamonds share the composition and physical and optical properties of natural diamonds but are produced in a factory rather than occurring naturally deep inside the Earth.  They are more affordable than their natural counterparts and as techniques advance prices are falling.  Especially in larger sizes and finer qualities, the difference in price can be very attractive.  You can learn more about lab-grown diamonds in our blog series
