Lab grown diamond solitaire earrings in platinum, 1.00ct

£2,200.00

Lab grown diamond solitaire earrings in a fantastic, versatile size, totalling 1.00ct in weight.  Each stone weighs 0.50ct and has its own independent diamond grading report from IGI.  Selected carefully to form a perfect match, both stones are graded as D colour and VS1 clarity.  Each also has Excellent grades for Cut, Polish and Symmetry, demonstrating that the diamond cutter has worked successfully to unlock their full sparkling potential.

D is the highest grade possible for colour and is given to diamonds that are not only completely colourless but superbly bright.  For clarity, VS1 indicates that the stone has no eye-visible inclusions, those inclusions that are present being very small and somewhat difficult for a diamond grader to find using 10x magnification.  An Excellent grade for cut refers to the proportions of the stone and is applied to stones that conform to strict parameters that will create the brightness and reflection of light that diamonds are famous for.  An Excellent Polish creates exceptional lustre while Excellent Symmetry ensures a round shape and balance between the various facets so there will be no distractions to the eye as you enjoy the sparkle.

Mounted simply in sleek four claw collets with stylish petal design claws.  With sturdy post and scroll fittings, all crafted in platinum.

Lab-grown diamonds share the composition and physical and optical properties of natural diamonds but are produced in a factory rather than occurring naturally deep inside the Earth.  They are more affordable than their natural counterparts and as techniques advance prices are falling.  Especially in larger sizes and finer qualities, the difference in price can be very attractive.  You can learn more about lab-grown diamonds in our blog series

Lab grown diamonds total 1.00ct.  Each lab grown diamond weighs 0.50ct and has its own independent diamond grading report from IGI (International Gemological Institute).  Both D colour, VS2 clarity.
