PA Jewellery are 'Team of the Year'!

We are delighted to announce that PA Jewellery have been awarded the Team of the Year accolade at the prestigious National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) Awards.  The Awards were held in a glittering ceremony alongside the NAJ’s Benevolent Ball on December 5th at the St John’s Hotel in Solihull, attended by almost 400 allied trade professionals representing the cream of the British jewellery industry.  The winners in each of the 11 categories were presented with a beautiful pewter twist trophy in recognition of their achievement; you can view this now in our showroom!

We were selected as winners from the five-strong shortlist in the Team of the Year category.  This was whittled down from all the entries by the NAJ editorial team who were looking for “evidence of innovation and achievement, teamwork, leadership and contribution to wider society”.

Our Managing Director Ian Cookson has said “I am absolutely thrilled with this achievement.  It is especially pleasing that this award recognises the whole team and reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff.”

We are extremely proud that our staff are right at the heart of our business; a highly qualified and experienced team with have over 200 years in the jewellery industry between them.  Comprising jewellers, gemmologists and goldsmiths, most of the team have been with PA for more than ten years, with several in excess of 20 years.  We are also employee-owned, with an Employee Ownership Trust having the majority shareholding.

The NAJ was formed through the unification of the British Jewellers’ Association (BJA) and National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG) in 2015.  It is the leading voice for the UK jewellery industry, representing 2000 member companies across the sector.   Its awards are held annually and are a highly regarded mark of excellence across the industry.  We are so pleased that they have chosen to recognise us with this fantastic award.
